What is BatteryWare?

Our technology has been in development since 2011. We own significant Intellectual Property (IP) for Battery Testing, Data Transmission and Results Analysis. BatteryWare technology can be used for the following:

what
Battery Testing

BatteryWare devices test the key data points of a battery’s field performance under load. This data is transmitted back to our lab for detailed analysis. As a result, BatteryWare gives you an in-depth understanding of battery performance, reliability and expected lifespan, with real-time updates on power loss, failures and recharging events.

what
Optical Recognition

BatteryWare features advanced optical recognition, with car number plate and privacy-friendly facial recognition built-in. It works with a variety of camera systems, linking with third party providers to provide further functionality such as recognising architecture, vehicle types, public infrastructure, emergency services and more.

what
Artificial Intelligence

BatteryWare incorporates artificial intelligence to manage it’s analysis, as well as hive independent investigation and learning.

what
Safety Testing

The technology also detects safety issues, tampering, ambient and internal temperature, real-time GPS monitoring, maintenance, and a number of other factors.

what
Adaptable Technology

BatteryWare devices are highly adaptable, allowing third-party technology to be linked quickly, and for onboard in depth analysis of the data.

This onboard analysis, assisted by machine learning, is able to learn from past situations and respond in real-time to changes in environmental conditions and performance anomalies. This enables faults to be prevented before they happen, as well as providing the opportunity to optimise system performance.

BatteryWare can enable the next generation of automation and efficiency in a wide range of scenarios including renewable energy production, battery-powered automobiles and smart public infrastructure.

Smart Street Lights

BatteryWare is collaborating with Conflow Power on the Smart Street Lights project. The street lights are fitted with 360 cameras and microphones, and will be able to monitor atmospheric weather conditions, air quality, ambient lighting and temperature, and more.

All these devices feed directly into BatteryWare, which becomes the controller and database for all this technology.

Troubleshooting

When BatteryWare detects anomalies or changes, units can work together, each testing different solutions to intelligently restore light levels or other system functionality. It only takes one unit to fix the issue and new settings are automatically rolled out to every other streetlight experiencing the same problem. In the future, the lamps will remember this solution when similar scenarios occur.

Real World Example

Real World Example

BatteryWare is installed in a cluster of smart street lights in an area that does not usually experience heavy snow fall. In January, this cluster start to experience a drop in power to the battery.

BatteryWare notices the unusual drop in power (based on previous days, and the time of year). BatteryWare checks all systems for faults, queries the built-in weather station and optical recognition for anomalies. It also sends a report of an anomalous drop to base.

Upon receiving weather data, it notes low humidity, below freezing point, and the optical recognition data reports snow. BatteryWare checks local weather reports, confirming heavy snow. Several units test different actions, one achieving success within 5 minutes by tilting panels to an extreme angle before returning to optimal solar capture angle. This is tested on other units, before being rolled out as a command to all units suffering the power drop.A further report is sent to base confirming return of normal operation.

Safety Example

Safety Example

If a car crash occurs, the system will recognise the crash taking place, triangulate the location, determine the type of road it occurred on, alert emergency services, and provide them with a live stream from any nearby cameras.

Crime Example

Crime Example

A gunshot is detected by several lamps in a cluster of smart street lights. BatteryWare triangulates the gunshot, creates a live stream from any cameras in the area and notifies local law enforcement, providing the location along with a live feed and all video footage before and after the shot.

All footage from 24 hours either side of the gunshot is flagged, and optical recognition systems report all car license plates in the area at the time, and flag and report suspicious driving behaviour.

And this is just the beginning...
The possibilities of this innovative new technology are endless.
